Well, finks, this is the SECOND LAST episode of The Surfphony of Derstruction! The Big Derboski was just gonna put it on cruise control and have a simple show but...

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! MICHIGAN PINBALL EXPO is this weekend so I thought I would talk about my other favorite thing besides SURF: PINBALL!!!

We talked about a couple of my favorite pinball machines, Twilight Zone and The Getaway: High Speed II as well as CENTAUR, a machine I have yet to play but looks really cool!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOoooo! WOOOOOOOOOO-HAT A SHOW!! BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG DRIFT!! THE SURFPHONY OF DERSTRUCTION had to take a 180 when I found out that it would be SOCAN tracking period!! So I says to Mable, I says, "AW TA HELL with Aloha From The Far East for this week! Let's make some Canucks a coupla bucks!" and so I played an entire show of (hopefully) SOCAN-registered artists! Just a regular ol' kick ass SURF SHOW BABY!!!

I played The Space Plan, a local Windsor surf band from around 2000. The liner notes of their CD said that they won the Best Local Band jammie from CJAM that year. Pretty sweet to see some surf appreciation almost a decade ago!
