March 29th - ALOHA FROM THE FAR EAST

WOOOOOOOOOOO! Another theme show placed under the BIG BELT BUCKLE of The Surfphony of Derstruction! This week, we hit the pacific ocean hangin' ten and saw what we could get up to in the Far East! It was a bit of a loose theme and I allowed some breathing room to hit up the casbah as well as stop in at the ol' watering hole down in the amazon jungles! Jungle Exotica was the album of choice for this show, having spun many of the tracks from this fantastic compilation. Dig the playlist below...

February 8th

HEY FINKS! Sorry for taking so long on putting this post up! It's been a really busy week with school and stuff so I wasn't able to put it up on time. I also took a one show hiatus but I will be back on the 22nd! I will be doing REVOLUTION SURF with Dave Konstantino and then I will be doing a special theme show on the Big SURF! Since it is still February, I will be doing "I Fell in Love with a Surfink", all about lovey-dovey Surf, harhar! Tune in to Revolution Rock at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 22nd and then The Surfphony of Derstruction at 7PM all on CJAM 99.1 FM!

We heard a couple of songs this week that included synth! pretty wild! Unfortunately, there aren't any YouTube videos of any songs played so no videos this week.
Note the first song and album picture. That's The Wipeouters! Members of DEVO recorded a pretty sweet surf album, of course with a taste of DEVO mixed in!
