I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in! Also, to bring you a couple of past episodes of THE SURFPHONY OF DERSTRUCTION! So here's a couple of episodes FOR YA!
These two shows I consider the cream of the crop, the algae that floats to the top! THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST SHOW THIS SIDE OF THE DETROIT RIVER!!
Enjoy! I'll make sure to post a few more of the theme shows and a couple of just damn good episodes of the BIG SURF!!
Well finks, it's always a shame to say goodbye but everything comes to an end(?) eventually! This is the final episode of The Surfphony of Derstruction on CJAM 99.1 FM and it is sad to see it go. BUT, like how the tide always comes back in, so will the BIG SURF one day!!
For the final show, I played a couple of old favorites and some of the usual SURF!!

Well, finks, this is the SECOND LAST episode of The Surfphony of Derstruction! The Big Derboski was just gonna put it on cruise control and have a simple show but...
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! MICHIGAN PINBALL EXPO is this weekend so I thought I would talk about my other favorite thing besides SURF: PINBALL!!!
I played a couple of kool numbers from this REAL KOOL blog: THE DEVIL'S MUSIC. I provided the links to the particular blog posts in the song titles so look for it!
NO VIDEOS this week, couldn't find any of the songs I played out Youtube.
ya know, I gotta start this post off with a little somethin'...
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOOOO! WHAT A FUNKIN' AWESOME SHOW!! Dave Konstantino of Revolution Rock and Chris Crossroads of Deliverance dropped by to hang ten with the 60-Minute Maniac, THE BIG DERBOSKI, Derk Brigante, to celebrate! WHAT FOR? There's a reason I call myself the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be, because I AM. 2011 CJAM'S VOLUNTEER OF THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG YEAR! WOOOOOOOOO! So, I figured, as my first episode as CHAMPION, I would play my favorite tracks from the shows gone by, as well as a couple chosen out by BIG DAVE

BIG BAD SURFINK!!
This show was fun as hell to do! It was a good time having Dave and Chris in but I kept getting distracted, hahaha! So, a lot of tracks were picked at the very last second but that doesn't matter because it all sounded OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH SO GOOD!!
I finally found a decent version of Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet's Popcorn and I was very excited to play it for all the great listeners tuned in!
Here's the number that we started the show off with: The Original Surfaris with BOMBORA
Speaking of BOMBOOOOOOORAS, time to bombard you with hella links!
Thanks to Dave Konstantino for swinging by tonight. Check out Revolution Rock every Tuesday 10:30 AM - 12:PM and the accompanying blog!
Also, thanks to Chris Crossroads as well for dropping on the BIG SURF. Check out his show, Deliverance, every Wednesday 1-2:30 PM.
Also shout out to Vern Smith of Jazz Hacienda, every Saturday 6-8 PM, (dig the show here) who just recently took over for The Topic Is Jazz with Todd Fraba, every Tuesday at 6PM, right before The Surfphony of Derstruction!
WOOOOOOOOOOO! Another theme show placed under the BIG BELT BUCKLE of The Surfphony of Derstruction! This week, we hit the pacific ocean hangin' ten and saw what we could get up to in the Far East! It was a bit of a loose theme and I allowed some breathing room to hit up the casbah as well as stop in at the ol' watering hole down in the amazon jungles! Jungle Exotica was the album of choice for this show, having spun many of the tracks from this fantastic compilation. Dig the playlist below...

The Peeples' HI YOOOOOOOO CAMEL! By far the song of the night!
Need to get the latest episode? DIG IT, get it right HERE along with the past few episodes, such as SOCAN-CAN-CAN (March 22nd) and CALL OF THE WEST (March 15th)!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOoooo! WOOOOOOOOOO-HAT A SHOW!! BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG DRIFT!! THE SURFPHONY OF DERSTRUCTION had to take a 180 when I found out that it would be SOCAN tracking period!! So I says to Mable, I says, "AW TA HELL with Aloha From The Far East for this week! Let's make some Canucks a coupla bucks!" and so I played an entire show of (hopefully) SOCAN-registered artists! DIG THAT MAPLE SYRUP!

One of my favorite Toronto Surf bands, The Blue Demons, with their track EMPIRE SANTO:
AHAHAHAHAHA CAMEL CLUUUUUUUUUUUTCH!! WOOOOOOOO!!
NEXT UP!! A rare and tasty track by Quebec's own Les Jaguars from back in the 60's during the first wave of Surf!
There's also a Myspace page for the band, check it out!
Here's a blog exclusive track, a real rare one out of Quebec as well, Les Megatones with Wheels!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, The Tijuana Bibles' Custom Made Man! The video quality isn't the best but the sound is pretty good!
